On November 2, 2016, Choijin Temple shared an early glimpse of its forthcoming restaurant. The Facebook announcement introduced a fine-dining venue in central Ulaanbaatar, behind the Wedding Palace, using the building name Tselmeg Tower.

The First Glimpse

The exterior photograph showed the Choijin Temple name and emblem already installed on a reflective glass facade. Another announcement from the same early archive repeated the opening-soon message.

Together, these posts offer a view of the restaurant before its opening was announced as complete.

From the Archive

November 2 is the date of the preview announcement, rather than a confirmed opening day or anniversary. The original post did not give an opening date. The building name above preserves the wording used in 2016.
