Choijin Temple Restaurant first opened in 2016 and, within six months, earned strong appreciation from its guests. In August 2017, Forbes Mongolia featured the restaurant in an article titled A Unique Harmony of East and West.

Now in its ninth year of steady operation, Choijin Temple Restaurant has become one of the few restaurants in Mongolia to receive a Culinary 3 Star distinction from the Mongolian Culinary Association.

Known for Mediterranean cuisine and a comfortable, refined dining experience, Choijin quickly became recognized by the public. Even during the pandemic, the team continued meeting guests' needs. Today, Choijin has grown into three branches, built an organic online community of around forty thousand active followers, and continues to hold a trusted place with its guests.

Our Philosophy & Vision

The values and ambition behind our dining experience.

Philosophy

At the heart of Mediterranean food culture is a philosophy of nourishing the body with healthy, fresh, and organic regional ingredients: fruits, herbs, whole grains, legumes, seafood, fish, and meats.

People around the Mediterranean are known for longevity. We embrace that spirit of long life and joyful dining, represented through the White Old Man, a symbol close to Mongolian hearts.

We are proud to create Choijin's culinary identity by blending European food culture with the character of nomadic tradition and civilization.

Vision

Our vision is to grow the Choijin brand onto the international stage and, together as an organization, work toward the ambitious dream of becoming a Michelin Star restaurant recognized from Mongolia.

Our company leads its field by sharing European food culture more widely, while creating recipes, nourishing dishes, and comfortable dining experiences suited to Mongolian tastes. Through this, the Choijin brand has earned a lasting place in the hearts of our guests.
